Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of Udmurtia on the right bank of the Kama River , at the confluence of the Yaromaski River , 49 km southeast of the city of Izhevsk , 8 km from the railway station of the city of Sarapul and 3 km south of the village of Dulesovo .

History
At the confluence of the Jaromaski and Kama rivers in the 3rd – 5th centuries, a settlement existed that occupied a narrow cape covered with forest. In the written sources of Yaromask, it was first mentioned in the “Scribe Book of the Kazan County 1647-1656” as a village in the palace Sarapul volost of the Arskaya road of the Kazan district : “Ushakova village, Eramaska, then: arable land and fall eight lengths, eight widths, a total of sixty four tithes in three fields. And in one field of the property, there are twenty-one tithes with a third, and in two for the same. ” In 1684, the Assumption-Likhotkin Yaromsky Monastery appeared near the village. The monastery was abolished in 1764 as a result of the secularization reform carried out by Catherine II .
In the XVIII - the beginning of the XX centuries - in the Sarapul district of Vyatka governorship (since 1796 - the Vyatka province ). In 1924, Jaromaska was the center of the Jaromassky village council of the Sarapulsky district, which in 1965 was renamed the Dulesovsky village council. [4] In 2006, Jaromaska became part of the Dulesovskoye municipality. [2]
Religion
In 1819-1834, a temple of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in Jaromask. According to the data for 1890, the following villages belonged to the parish of the church: Bolshie Caves, Gary, Devyatovo , Dulesovo , Kotova, Kuznetsovo, Makshaki, Lesser Caves, Smolino, Spolokhovo, Suriki, mending.
In 1941, the church was closed and gradually became desolate. In 2006-2008, the church was restored.
Culture
In 1936, the film " Volga, Volga " was shot near the village of Jaromaska.
