Geographical position
Borovskoye rural settlement is located in the southeast of the Shilovsky municipal district of the Ryazan region. In the north, the Borovskoye rural settlement borders on the Inyakinsky and Adelyinsky rural settlements, in the east - on the territory of the Chuchkovsky district , in the south - on the territory of the Putyatinsky district , in the west - on the Shilovsky urban , as well as on the Terekhovsky and Timoshkinsky rural settlements.

Climate and natural resources
The climate of the Borovskoye rural settlement is moderate continental with moderately cold winters and warm summers. Rainfall throughout the year is unevenly distributed.
Water resources are represented by the presence of the Tyrnitsa , Milchusa and Ushi rivers; there are swamps, artificially created ponds.
Large spaces in the territory of Borovsky rural settlement are occupied by coniferous and mixed forests . The soils on the territory of the settlement are podzolic and gray forest , loamy.
On the territory of the settlement there is a deposit of expanded clay and quartz sand, which are used for the production of expanded clay and in glass production. [3]
History
It was formed as a result of the municipal reform of 2006 in the territory of the Borovskoy rural district (the center of Borovoe ) with the entrusted administrative control to the village of Borovoe .
