Baseball at the 2004 Summer Olympics

Baseball competitions at the 2004 Summer Olympics were held from August 15 to 25 at the stadium in the Olympic complex in Elinikon . Only men took part.

Participation was played by 8 teams, each in the group round, at the Olympics, played 7 matches, one meeting with the opponent. The next round came 4 teams. There, in turn, the semi-final took place (one meeting each), then the match for 3rd place and the final.

Group round

The top four included: Japan, Cuba, Canada and Australia, and passed to the semifinals. Due to the same results, the 4 teams had to play additional matches (Japan-Cuba and Greece-Italy). In the semifinals, Japan (# 1) played against Australia (# 4) and Cuba (# 2) played against Canada (# 3).
