Potassium disilicate forms colorless hygroscopic crystals of monoclinic syngony , space group C c , cell parameters a = 1.6322 nm, b = 1.1243 nm, c = 0.9919 nm, β = 115.97 °, Z = 12, d = 2.610 g / cm³ (at 150 K).
It is soluble in water.
