Content
Story
The film presents us with three different stories. The first is about the adventures of loser addicts ( Paul Walker and Kevin O. Rankin ) trying to rob their dealer; the second tells about a man named Richard ( Matt Dillon ), who is trying to find his wife who disappeared six years ago; the third shows us the life of the twin Elvis -Ricky ( Brendan Fraser ) who wanders to fairs in the American province.
And the local pawnshop and its owner Elton ( Vincent D'Onofrio ) unites all these stories among themselves.

The film received negative reviews from world critics and failed miserably at the box office.
On the resource, Rotten Tomatoes has a rating of 13% based on 16 reviews by critics, with an average rating of 3.5 out of 10 [2] .
The film scored 26 points out of 100 on the Metacritic website, which is based on 10 reviews pointing to “generally unfavorable reviews” [3] .
In an article for the New York Times , film critic Stephen Holden wrote about the film: "... the style of the Pawnshop Chronicles" is hooligan chatter that belches on your face and there is a sour stench. " [4] .
