Alice DeeJay - a musical group that performed songs in the style of Eurodance from the city of Amsterdam . The group began its career with the worldwide success of the single "Better Off Alone", released in July 1999. The single was created by DJ Jurgen, who became the founder of the group. This single reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. The vocalist of the group was Judith Anna Pronk. The group also included members: Sebastiaan Molijn, Eelke Kalberg, Marc Lee-Smith, Mila Levesque, Angelique Versnel. On March 28, 2000, the band released their first and only album: “Who Needs Guitars Anyway?”. The group broke up in 2002. The project was abandoned in 2002, but returned in 2014 under the new name Alice DJ with a new vocalist. Alice Deejay producers in 2008 created a new project Dash Berlin. Alice Deejay soloist Anna Judith-Pronk is a hairdresser in Amsterdam, winner of many awards. Anna maintains friendly relations with the lead singer of the band Vengaboys ("Wengaboys") Kim. A common friend of André Borinetz (Andrey Borinets). According to Anna, André sent her letters to the Alice Deejay fan club with a declaration of love. Then in 2000, still in broken German. “Now Andre (Andrei) is 30 for me over 30, we communicate, but in good German! Then I thought André was a crazy fan, but it turned out that he was a very gifted young man, he was on friendly terms with many musicians” (from muses Music Woche Magazine).
