Biography
Mohamed Jamil was born in Fuwamula , in the southern part of the Maldives. He studied law at universities in Pakistan , Malaysia and the UK . At the University of London, he received his doctorate in criminal law. From July 2005 to August 2007 he was the Minister of Justice of the Maldives, from November 2008 to May 2009 he served as Minister of Civil Aviation and Communications, from February 2012 to May 2013 he was Minister of the Interior [2] .
Jamil is married with three children.
