Zoya Kazan was born on September 9, 1983 in Los Angeles , in the family of screenwriters Nicholas Kazan and Robin Svaykord ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button "). Her grandfather, Elia Kazan , was an American director of theater and film. Zoe has a younger sister, Maya , who is also an actress.
Zoe Kazan studied in several private schools in Los Angeles. In 2005 she graduated from Yale University .
Career
Her film debut took place in 2003 in the movie “Speakers and Lean”. There she played Samantha. In 2006, she enters the theater stage in the play “Miss Jean Brodie in her prime” with Cynthia Nixon in the lead role.
