History

The club was founded on May 24, 1925 under the name "Ustrem". Later he wore the names “Goce Delchev” (1931–1948), “Yane Sandanski” (1948–1949), and “Cherveno Zname” (1949-1957).

In the 2004/05 season, the club first entered the Bulgarian group A. To play in the highest division of Bulgaria, the owner decided to attract players from other countries. The first was the former Porto player Jose Furtado. In the 2007/08 season, Konstantin Dinev decided to invite the Portuguese coach Rui Diaz, as well as eight Portuguese and two Brazilian players. But three months later, Rui Diaz was fired for unsatisfactory results.

To date, the club performs in the third largest league - Group B (South-West).
