Wanda Maria Howell was born on May 11 in Gastonia (North Carolina, USA). In 1995-2001, Mary lived in Okinawa ( Japan ) [1] . Howell studied biology and chemistry in college, and also graduated from Winston-Salem State University [1] .
Career
Maria made her film debut in 1985, playing the role of the soloist of the church choir in the film " Purple Field Flowers " [1] . In total, Howell has played in more than 30 films and television series. She is also known for her roles in films and television series such as “ Daddy's Daughter ” (the role of wife, 2007), “ The Vampire Diaries ” (the role of Mrs. Halpern / Aianna, 2009—2011), “The Invisible Side ” (the role of the well-to-do employee of “CPS” , 2009), “ What to Expect When You Expect a Baby ” (the role of the doctor Jules Buckser) [2] and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ” (the role of Sider, 2013) [3] [4] [5] .
