Geography
It is located 15 km from the district center of Kursk.
Agricultural land that surrounds the village in the 1990s was given for summer cottages for residents of the city of Kursk.

Infrastructure
On the territory of the village there is an aviation military unit, and support units for the Kursk aviation group.
