Design
The weapon was created on the basis of the design of the Kalashnikov assault rifle AKS-74U and PP-19 "Bison" (from which up to 70% of parts were borrowed). Without replacing the barrel, it can use all 9 mm caliber cartridges: 9 × 18 PM, 9 × 18 PMM, 9 × 19 Parabellum, 9 × 21 PRO57 and the newly developed cartridge 9 × 30 “Thunder”. Due to the developed two types of chamber, inserted on the thread into the breech of the barrel: the first for cartridges from 9 × 17 to 9 × 21, the second for 9 × 30, the pool entrance has a complex configuration. The fire control handle is located in the center of gravity of the submachine gun.
A magazine with a capacity of 20 and 40 rounds is inserted into the pistol grip of the fire control, a two-row arrangement of rounds ensures the reception of almost all types of rounds and their normal location on the delivery line due to the fact that the rounds are pressed against the front wall of the store. "Cheetah" can be equipped with a silencer, muzzle brake, compensator and other devices.
The design of the Cheetah submachine gun allows you to use several types of shutter, depending on the power of the cartridge used, such as a free shutter , a free shutter with two inertial masses and partial use of the gas exhaust system from the barrel bore, a half-free shutter, or a shutter with the usual Kalashnikov system rotary larva.
