Biography
Evgeny Neronovich was born in 1888 near the city of Piryatin ( Poltava province ). He received his secondary education at the Poltava Men's Gymnasium and at the Electrotechnical Department of the Petersburg Technological Institute . While still studying in Poltava, he founded the first gymnasium print magazine "Renaissance" (1907). In 1913, he headed the editorial board of the Ukrainian Student magazine, published in St. Petersburg.
Worker USDRP . In 1917 he became a member of the Central Council as a representative of the All-Ukrainian Council of Soldiers' Deputies. Shortly before that, he headed the left wing of the Ukrainian Social Democrats , who advocated cooperation with the Bolsheviks and the creation of an independent Ukrainian Soviet state.
In 1918 he joined the Bolshevik party. Since March 1918 Neronovich - People's Secretary of Military Affairs of the Soviet Government of Ukraine . He was a member of the delegation of the Government of the RSFSR at the peace talks in Brest-Litovsk .
In April 1918, Neronovich was arrested by hetman troops in the city of Veliky Sorochintsy and shot without any court.
Memory
In 1925, the Great Sorochintsy were renamed Neronovichi, but in 1931 the city was returned to its former name.
