Ye Xuanping (born November 1924 , Meixian (Guangdong) ), Deputy Chairman of the CPPCC (1991-2003, 1st from 1993), Governor of Guangdong (1985-1991), Mayor of Guangzhou (1983-85 ) Member of the CPC since September 1945, member of the CPC Central Committee of 12-14 convocations (candidate of the 12 convocation).

Biography
Han nationality. The son of Ye Jianin , subsequently one of the first ten marshals of the PRC .
In 1941-45, he studied at the Yan'an College of Natural Sciences.
In 1980-1985 Vice Governor Prov. Guangdong and in 1983-85. Mayor and deputy head of the city committee of the CPC of the provincial capital of Guangzhou .
In 1985-1991, the governor and deputy head of the party party prov. Guangdong.
In 1991-2003 (from 1993 - 1st) Deputy Chairman of the CPPCC 7 VK (co-opted), 8-9 (was the first by transfer) of convocations.
He was a member of the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the 16th All-China Congress of the CPC [1] .
