Biography

He was born on September 1, 1919 in the village of Shirokiy Buerak (now - the Saratov district of the Saratov region ). After graduating from the 9th grade of the school, he worked as an electrical engineer at the Saratov Shipyard, while studying at the flying club [1] .

Since 1939 he studied at the Saratov Military Aviation School, then - at the Totsky School, which he graduated in November 1941 [1] . Since 1942, a participant in the Great Patriotic War . He fought on the Kalinin , Western , 1st and 4th Ukrainian fronts.

The title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal was awarded by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 23, 1945 "for 115 combat sorties on an Il-2 attack aircraft, causing great damage to the enemy and heroism and courage."

He lived and worked in the city of Saratov . He died on January 25, 1979.
