Perryman, Steve

Steven John (Steve) Perryman (b. January 23, 1952 in Ealing, Middlesex ) - English football player and football coach. Famous for performances for Tottenham Hotspur in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1982, Perryman was recognized as the football player of the year in England, according to journalists , he also holds the club record for matches held for Tottenham, he played 854 games for the club. He is currently the director of a club in Exeter City [1] .

Player Career

During his seventeen-year career in Tottenham, he won the UEFA Cup in 1972 and 1984, the FA Cup in 1981 and 1982, the League Cup in 1971 and 1973. After leaving White Hart Lane, Perryman moved to Oxford United in 1986 , and then to Brentford as a playing coach that same year.

Perriman played one match for the England team, coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute of the match against Iceland on June 2, 1982 .
