The goose symbolizes the famous Shadrino goose. Shadrinsk (Ural) geese descended from tamed wild geese. The azure (blue) bend symbolizes the Iset River - the main river of the region.
The M-shaped outline points to Terenty Semenovich Maltsev , an honored breeder, a native of the village of Maltsevo, Shadrinsky district of Perm province (today the Shadrinsky district).
Two golden ears of bread symbolize agriculture and the pastoral traditions of the region. The green field is a symbol of the forest wealth of the region, and also indicates the main color of the symbolism of the Kurgan region.
