In 1950 , while still a schoolgirl, she became a member of the underground youth organization “ Union for the cause of the revolution ” (SDR), formed by several 16-17-year-old boys who met in the literary circle of the Moscow House of Pioneers. The Union set itself the task of returning to the Leninist principles of organization of society and the state, perverted, according to young people, by the Bonapartist regime of Stalin [1] .

January 18, 1951 was arrested along with other members of the organization [2] . On February 13, 1952, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced to 25 years in a camp on charges of treason and preparation for the murder of Georgy Malenkov [3] , Articles 58-1a, 58-8, 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR [2] . Three leaders of the organization, Boris Slutsky, born in 1932, Vladlen Furman, born in 1932, and Evgeny Gurevich, born in 1931, were shot. She served her sentence in various camps of the Gulag (including Inta, Abezi , Potma ). In 1956, the group’s case was reviewed, the sentence was reduced to 5 years, Pechuro was released. Having passed exams at the Faculty of History of Moscow State University , she was not enrolled in it and graduated from the Moscow Historical and Archival Institute .

At the Institute of History and Archives, she studied the repressions of the times of Ivan the Terrible [4] . Published in the Proceedings of the Moscow State Institute of Atomic Energy [5] She defended her thesis in 1961 under the direction of A. A. Zimin on the topic “Bit books as a source on the history of the zemshchina Ivan the Terrible” [6] . She worked in the Archive of Ancient Acts , at the Institute of Africa .

It was rehabilitated only on July 18, 1989 by the plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR [2] . Long-term member of the Memorial Society . In 2010, she signed the appeal “ Putin must leave ” [7] .

She died in Moscow on January 1, 2014 [3] . She was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery [8] .
