East Asia: China (Zhejiang). Met in June [1] .

Description

Small wasp-glitter , length about 6 mm; front wing about 4 mm long. The body is brownish-black with yellow marks. The head is black with yellow stripes on the side. Mandibles are brown. Antenna blackish brown. The mesosome is almost completely black with yellow stripes at the posterior margin of the pronotum. Mesopleuron and metapleuron are black, with yellow stripes at the front edge of the mesopleuron. Tegulae and legs are brown. The metasoma is brownish black. The head is covered with large punctures and long brown hairs. Mandibles with 2 teeth. Females have 4 visible tergites (males have five) [1] [2] . The taxon Cleptes flavolineatus is close to the species Cleptes satoi Tosawa , Cleptes albonotatus and Cleptes niger and belongs to the species group satoi species-group [3] . The species was first described in 2013 during an audit of the local fauna by Chinese entomologists N. Wei and Z. Xu (Na-sen Wei, Zai-fu Xu; Department of Entomology, College of Natural Resources and Environment, South China Agricultural University , Guangzhou , China ) and Italian hymenopterologist Paolo Rosa ( Paolo Rosa ; Bernareggio , province of Monza e Brianza , Italy ) [1] .
