Mr. Olympia 2008 is the most significant international bodybuilding competition held under the auspices of the International Federation of Bodybuilding ( IFBB ). The competition was held September 27, 2008 Orleans Arena in Las Vegas , USA . It was the forty-fourth tournament Mr. Olympia. Dexter Jackson (USA) won his first title, Jay Cutler won the Second, and Phil Heath won the Third. The prize fund amounted to 420 thousand dollars, the winner received 155 thousand dollars, for the second place - 90 thousand, for the third - 60 thousand dollars.
