Museum of Military Affairs ( Polish: Muzeum Czynu Zbrojnego ) is a military museum located in the Cracow district of Nova Huta [Comm. 1] at the address Osadle-Gurali, 3.

The first exhibition of the museum entitled “Pracownicy HiL w walkach o Polskę Ludową” (Workers of the Hut named after V. Lenin in the struggle for People’s Poland) took place in 1963 in the factory house of culture. The exhibits of this exhibition were from private collections of some workers of the Huta named after V. Lenin, who were members of the Polish Legions , participated in the Greater Poland and Silesian uprisings , the Soviet-Polish war and in World War II .
In 1970, the museum totaled about 3 thousand items in its collection. May 9, 1970 the grand opening of the museum.
Currently, the museum shows various types of military equipment, uniforms of Polish, Soviet military and Polish partisans, clothes of prisoners of concentration camps, a collection of orders, medals and insignias, various printed materials of war times and materials representing the history of prisoners of concentration camps.
The museum displays the banners of various Polish military organizations, including the standards of the Polish legions, Silesian rebels and the banner of prisoners of the Mauthausen concentration camp.
In front of the museum is the IS-2 tank, which participated in the capture of Berlin and the liberation of Prague. The tank was installed in front of the museum in 1969 and is one of the symbols of New Huta.
