Takuu (language)

Takuu ( Mortlock, Taku, Takuu, Tau, Tauu ) is a Polynesian language that belongs to the Elysian group, which is spoken in the village of Mortlock at Takuu Atoll (northeast of Bougainville Island) in the Atolls district of Bougainville province in Papua New Guinea. Takuu also differs from the languages ​​Nukumanu, Nukuria, Ontong Java and Sikayan, which are spoken in the Solomon Islands.
