Jaime-Khatun is the legendary mother of Ertogrul- Bey, grandmother of the first Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Osman I [1] . In 1892, under Abdul-Hamid II , her mausoleum was restored, but the sultan was driven by political motives, and the place of burial could have been falsified [2] .
