Alitta succinea (lat.) - a species of polychaete worms of the Nereid family. Distributed in the sea waters of Europe and the Northwest Atlantic, as well as in the Gulf of Maine and off the coast of South Africa [1] . Reaches a length of 15 cm. Body color is reddish-brown. On the head there are two pairs of eyes, a pair of sensory tentacles, and many tentacles. The head consists of two segments. The last segment of the body is known as pygidium .
