Description

The length of the shell is from 25 to 57 mm [2] .

The species is common in the Indian Ocean along the coast of Madagascar and in the central part of the Pacific Ocean along the coast of the Philippines , Nancy , Australia and Papua New Guinea . Lives at a depth of 5 to 200 m [2] .

Like all mitres, it is a predator and feeds on small gastropods and bivalves.
