Truvelo Raptor is a submachine gun manufactured by the South African company Truvelo Armour for ammunition of 5.56 × 45 mm NATO and 7.62 × 39 mm . Being a development of the Vektor R4 design, in fact, is a derivative of the Kalashnikov assault rifle .

The weapon is made with a minimum amount of polymers. The basic version is equipped with Picatinny slats for sights and other additional equipment. The barrel is equipped with a flame arrester . The receiver has a handle for carrying weapons, made of high quality alloy steel and aluminum.
Options
- Carbine ( C ) - shortened version with a length of 840 mm and a weight of 4 kg;
- Infantry ( I ) - standard (infantry) version with a length of 965 mm and a weight of 4.6 kg.
