Biography
He studied at the 3rd St. Petersburg and Vilnius gymnasium , from 1879 at the Vilnius real school. The earliest of the publications identified is Several Economic Issues in the newspaper Vilensky Vestnik (April 1881 ). From 1881 he placed a number of novels and short stories in illustrated and other publications.
Since 1884 he lived in St. Petersburg . He was the actual editor of the "Star" , "Picturesque Review" and other periodicals.
In 1906 he was sentenced to one and a half years imprisonment in the fortress as editor of the journal "Modern Life" [1]
