History
The name Rubinstein Street was assigned to the passage from Manezhnaya Street to the road from Oranienbaum to St. Petersburg (now Oranienbaum Highway ) in Peterhof in 1894 after the death of the composer A.G. Rubinshtein , who had a summer residence here. However, then Rubinstein Street was included in the Red Cadets Boulevard and Oranienbaum Highway.
On July 25, 2012, the name Rubinshteinskaya Street was returned to a fragment of the Red Cadets Street from Manezhnaya Street to the intersection of Own and St. Petersburg Avenues [1] . Another former fragment of Rubinstein Street - part of the Oranienbaum Highway from the intersection of Znamenskaya Street and Sobstvenny Avenue to the Lower Road - became the Oranienbaum Descent .
