SpeechKit [3] was presented on October 2, 2013 at the annual Yandex YaC technology conference [1] .
Mobile voice search based on this platform is available for smartphones running iOS , Android and Windows Phone 8 [1] and understands queries in Russian and Turkish [4] . Two query topics are supported: “general” (regular queries) and “geo” (addresses and names of organizations), and, according to the developers, the recognition accuracy is 84% and 94%, respectively [5] . The recognition speed is 1.1 seconds [5] .
SpeechKit [3] is used in the applications Yandex.Browser , Yandex.City , Yandex.Maps , Yandex.Navigator , and about 400 more applications [4] .
On August 4, 2014, the SpeechKit Cloud SDK (pronounced SpeechKit Cloud, SDK ) was introduced [4] . The development is designed to be embedded in games, entertainment and navigation services [4] .
