Club career

Castillo in Dallas

Castillo is a graduate of the Deportivo Cali club. On February 7, 2010, in the match against Millionarios , he debuted in the Mustang Cup ^[3] . On July 19, in a duel against Deportes Tolima , he scored his first goal for a new club ^[4] . In his first season, Castillo helped the team win the Colombian Cup .

In early 2011, Fabian moved to the American " Dallas ". The contract was signed for 3 years, the amount of transfer was 800 thousand dollars. On March 27, Castillo made his debut in the MLS against San Jose Earthquakes ^[5] . On May 2, Fabian scored his first goal for Dallas against the Los Angeles Galaxy ^[6] .

International Career

In 2009, Fabian took fourth place in the Junior World Championships in Nigeria . He played in the tournament against the Netherlands ^[8] , Iran ^[9] , Argentina ^[10] , Turkey ^[11] and Spain ^[12] .

In 2011, Castillo traveled to Peru for the South American Youth Championship . In the tournament he played in matches against teams of Chile ^[13] , Argentina ^[14] , Paraguay ^[15] , Uruguay ^[16] , Bolivia ^[17] and twice against Ecuador ^[18] ^[19] and Brazil ^[20] ^[21] .

In the summer of the same year, Christian took part in the home youth world championship . He played in the tournament against Mali ^[22] and Mexico ^[23] .

On September 9, 2015, in a friendly match against the national team of Peru, Fabian made his debut for the national team of Colombia , replacing Carlos Bakca in the second half ^[24] .
