Rewards

According to the results of KRI 2013, without leaving the MBT stage, the project received the award: "The best browser game." [one]

As a result of the popular vote in the framework of the Runet Prize 2013 contest, the game took 7th place. [2] In 2014, the game took 3rd place at the Runet Prize.

Story [3]

The game takes place in an industrial fantasy world with steampunk elements. This Universal Mechanism is a complex and ancient system of interconnected devices with an inexhaustible supply of energy. Once upon a time, the race of skillful conquerors, whose name was Paragonians, ventured to subjugate this energy, and was destroyed. They left behind a split world and a mysterious legacy.

Even now, when the era of myth is thousands of years behind, this legacy affects the course of history and the Universal Mechanism. The races already inhabiting the Mechanism [4] - people, goblins, orcs, and hobbs - were joined by charming ravens, closed dragoons, and semi-mechanical gnomes. Studying the lost technology of the Paragonians has allowed a radical change in life on the Mechanism. Air ships cut through the sky, steam robots patrol the streets, and huge factories stamp weapons for heroes and villains.

Since the fall of the Paragonians, four great human races have arisen: the Heartland Confederation, the Allied kingdoms of Ostenia, the patriarchal republic of Avenoss and the stern empire of Stoigmar. At the site of the death of the Paragonians is the city-state of Nexus [5] , the formerly once great industrial capital. This is where the players enter as refugees , ready to build a new life.

Classes [6]

At the moment, there are 4 classes, one only - the strongest, of course, there is not and will not be. Each of the classes is unique and interesting in its own way, with its own style of play and lotions.

  • Arcanist - a magic class armed with a staff or wands combining both ranged and melee using electric, fire and ice spells.
  • Shooter - ranged virtuosos using fire and acid in skills. As weapons use revolvers, rifles, muskets and muskets.
  • Guardian - these are hardy fighters who have high skills in hand-to-hand combat, defense techniques using edged weapons (swords and axes), a large number of stunning attacks and attacks against several opponents.
  • Medium is an auxiliary class, although it can also prove to be excellent in 1 on 1 battles. Their music can heal, strengthen allies and weaken opponents.

Races [7]

There are 10 races in the game: Heartland, Avenoss, Ostenians, Stroymgard, Draugi, Ravens, Goblins, Hobbs, Orcs, Dwarves. They have small differences in the initial characteristics of the character, but there is no strict binding of the character class to the race, the administration still recommends the binding, arguing this with some historical facts.

  • The Heartlands are pragmatic cosmopolitan people originating from the confederation of the following industrial territories: Delton, Hollow, Lock and Nexus. There is no recommended class.
  • Avenossians are well-educated responsible people from the old patriarchal society, known for its witchcraft buildings. Recommended class: arcanist, shooter
  • The Ostenians are romantic religious people whose culture is torn between the King and the Church. People. Recommended keeper and medium.
  • Stroymgarians are difficult people living in difficult conditions, who are known for their racial customs, martial arts and strong drink. Recommended class: keeper.
  • Draugs , ash- skinned , cautious and reserved elves, zealously guard the growing wealth and influence of their noble Houses. Despite their long life, they prefer the solitude of their ancient, sometimes falling apart mansions, to the chaos of urban life. Recommendations: arcanist.
  • Ravens are passionate, beautiful, short-lived and elegant elves, born celebrities. They are eager to gain fame and fortune in battles, politics and high society for their ancient family. Arrows, mediums.
  • Goblins are the smallest, fastest, and most cunning greenskins. They are famous for two things: unrestrained curiosity and their talent to get into trouble because of it. Arcanist, shooter.
  • Hobbies are an unfriendly, strict greenskin nation with ancient martial arts traditions. regardless of the chosen activity, they always demonstrate strength and endurance. Arrows
  • Orcs are the largest, strongest and most frightening race of all greenskins. Brought by a brutal public policy to a state of outcasts, many orcs, in order to survive, become adventurers. However, if given a chance, they can reach heights in anything. Keepers.
  • The Dwarves - once created by the Paragonians - are an example of the perfect synthesis of flesh and metal. Now, having the opportunity to independently decide their fate, the gnomes are struggling to protect their native forges from the devastating effects of time. Keepers.

Features

In the game, at this stage, there are two servers: Thorium and Titan.

On each account, you can create up to five characters simultaneously on the first and second server, which you can delete as they become unnecessary. In the process of creating a character, you can change hair, beard, mustache, their color and shape. You can choose both female and male gender, with the exception of the gnomes.

Video and Camera

The game boasts graphics. Of course, far from games that use a full-fledged client of several gigabytes , but in its niche it can be confidently called the best. Well-designed models of weapons, costumes, non-player characters , castes and more. Dynamic battles with a lot of quality effects. A rather extensive system of video settings makes it possible to adjust them for yourself and for your computer.

Two camera modes: 2.5D - the viewing angle of the camera is fixed and makes it possible to adjust only the height and side from which you look at the character; 3D - allows you to adjust the height, side and viewing angle.

Management and Interface

Easy and intuitive controls and interface give you the opportunity to quickly access both with the mouse and the keyboard to almost everything that you may need at any time in the game, from skills and maps to receiving awards. There is a full-screen mode with a large number of resolutions. A bit confused by the abundance of flashing buttons showing the availability of a particular event or bonus.

Craft

An interesting and detailed crafting system in the game makes it possible to improve, change or add characteristics to almost any thing, even a vehicle:

  • sharpening and melting things to increase their basic characteristics;
  • 5 types of modifications of nine levels are inserted into the equipment to give things additional characteristics;
  • reforging an item - adding additional characteristics of a thing depending on the level of the item (the higher the level of the item, the more characteristics you can add).

Currency

Unattached Electrum is the main running currency, it is obtained both by game methods (victory in the tournament) and by replenishing the game account with real money. You can buy for it as a VIP status, or a commonplace metal for sharpening things. Trading on the market is only for electrum. At the same time, the buyer pays not attached electrum, and the seller receives the attached electrum.

Tied Electrum - in fact, perform the function of untethered Electrum with slight restrictions (you can not buy some items in the store and VIP status). It turns out for passing the test system in the minimum time, as a reward for daily logins to the game, for victories in asynchronous PvP.

Shillings are another currency that falls from monsters and is obtained from selling items in NPS stores, participating in most events and completing quests. It is used for most of the improvements in the game, ranging from things to mercenaries.

Pet System

Small animals collecting drop (loot).

Pets can be bought at the electrum store, as well as obtained for killing bosses in a special mode. There are 15 of them in total. Both add character characteristics to the character. The second can be pumped up to level 10, getting the same pets and buying additional parts.

Transportation System

Vehicles can also be bought - jetpacks in the electrum store. One steam cycle is given by default, it can be improved by details, the level (total of 10) of your steam horse affects not only its appearance and speed, but also on the main characteristics of the character, such as life, defense, damage, etc.

Mercenary System

A large number of mercenaries, differing in appearance and characteristics, which they add to the character, being in the “Suite of mercenaries”, as well as their unique abilities. They are divided into 4 colors: green, blue, purple, orange, from left to right in strength. You can hire and improve them in the "Mercenary" section. Not only the mercenary level rises, the third, except for the level and color, the number of stars on it becomes a characteristic of the mercenary. The more stars, the more% is added to the character when this mercenary is in the retinue. The stars also reveal the unique skills of the mercenary himself (slow down / freeze the enemy, push away, lower defense / damage, etc.)

PvP (Player vs player)

It is represented by guild wars, arenas 1 on 1, 2 on 2 and 3 on 3. There is also the so-called asynchronous arena, but this is not entirely pvp - you are fighting an avatar of an enemy character, that is, the enemy is controlled not by a live player, but by a computer . At the set time, 1-on-1 tournaments are held with rather impressive prizes, as well as the event “Deadly Battle”, where each player is for himself. In free PvP locations, you can not only meet your sworn enemies, but also fight with them for rare items falling from bosses that respawn every two hours in the same location.
