Turan ( Kazakh. Turan , until 2008 - Progress [1] ) - aul in the Maktaaral district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Ayazkhan rural district. The KATO code is 514483600 [2] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the aul was 125 people (50 men and 75 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 405 people lived in the aul (209 men and 196 women) [3] .
