Antracoteria [1] ( lat. Anthracotheriidae ) - a family of extinct mammals from the order of artiodactyls . About 25 genera of these animals are known. The Antrakoterievs were studied by the founder of evolutionary paleontology, Russian scientist V.O. Kovalevsky .
