Geography

The commune is located approximately 300 km southeast of Paris , 50 km north of Besançon , 15 km west of Vesoul [1] .

In the south of the commune flows the river Sona . About half of the territory of the commune is occupied by forests.

In 2010, among 1,027 people of working age (15–64 years old), 736 were economically active , 291 inactive (activity indicator 71.7%, in 1999 it was 69.6%).
