Louis-Rene Delma de Pont-Gesture ( fr. Louis-René Delmas de Pont-Jest ), better known as René de Pont-Gesture , as well as Leon Delma ( Léon Delmas ; October 17, 1829 , Reims - July 10, 1904 , Neuilly-sur-Seine ) - French retired naval officer, journalist and writer.

Maternal grandfather of the French playwright and actor Sasha Guitry .
According to family tradition, he served in the navy [3] . During the Crimean War - on the ship " Henri IV ". Then he retired to indulge in literary activities.
The first printed and most important of his work is the autobiographical narrative “La jeunesse d'un gentilhomme” (Brussels, 1860, in 3 volumes) about what was experienced during sea voyages to India and China.
