History
Chingiz Aitmatov
The name of the square was assigned on March 1, 2013 [1] in honor of the Kyrgyz writer Ch. T. Aitmatov .
Seedlings planted as a gift to St. Petersburg by the Bishkek City Hall as a sign of friendly relations during the visit of the Governor of St. Petersburg G.S. Poltavchenko to the Kyrgyz Republic in October 2012 were planted in the park.
