Square Bezborodko - Square in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg . Located on Polyustrovsky Avenue in the block between Piskaryovsky Avenue , Zhukov Street and Feodosiya Street . The name of the square was given as a result of many years of appeals by a group of Little Russian (Ukrainian) affiliates of St. Petersburg belonging to the Heritage Public Movement (OD), St. Petersburg, to return to the city administration the historical name of Kondratyevsky Avenue until 1925. History
Square was named March 1, 2013 [1] by the name of the owner. Initially it was supposed to give a name in the form of Bezborodkinsk Square , but during the meeting of the toponymic commission, the Bezborodko square option was agreed by a majority of votes.
Attractions
The central element of the square Bezborodko is Polyustrovsky pond . This pond received the name of Bavarovka from the locals, after the name of the New Bavaria plant, on the site of which in modern times is the factory of sparkling wines.
