Karzhan ( Kazakh. Karzhan ) is a village in the Kazygurt district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Altyntobinsky rural district. Located on the Karzhansu River , about 28 km east of the district center, the village of Kazygurt . The KATO code is 514033500 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the village population was 4224 people (2147 men and 2077 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 4454 people lived in the village (2215 men and 2239 women) [2] .
Attractions
On the outskirts of the village is located the medieval settlement Altıntobe .
