Zhanabazar ( Kazakh. Zhanabazar ) is a village in the Kazygurt district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Zhanabazar rural district. It is located about 27 km northeast of the district center, the village of Kazygurt . The KATO code is 514035100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 2656 people (1330 men and 1326 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 2854 people lived in the village (1457 men and 1397 women) [2] .
