Bruce Rubin also wrote the screenplay for films like Jacob 's Ladder , Clash with the Abyss , Brainstorming , Deadly Friend (based on Diana Henstall’s novel Friend,), My Life (in which he also directed), Stuart Little 2 , The Last Mimzy of the Universe, and Time Traveler 's Wife .

Bruce Rubin is married. He has two sons - Joshua and Ari - both screenwriters.
