Mark Olegovich Shulzhitsky ( July 11, 1989 , Vladivostok ) is a Russian racing driver, endurance racer who has become a professional athlete, having won e-sports competitions in Gran Turismo 5 [1] .

Career
GT Academy
Shulzhitsky began his racing career in karting, but at the age of 20 he had to stop it due to the lack of large racing tracks in the vicinity of Vladivostok. After graduating from the Far Eastern Federal University in 2011, he won the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy, winning competitions at Silverstone in 2012 [1] . To obtain an international racing license, Shulzhitsky, along with the winners of other regional competitions - Peter Pizero, Steve Doherty and Wolfgang Raip - underwent a three-month training program, including participation in the British races [2] , to participate in the Dubai 24-hour race in January 2013, in which Together with Roman Rusinov , Lucas Ordonez , Steve Doherty and Wolfgang Raip, Shulzhycki took 21st place in the overall standings and second in the SP3 class [3] .
Blancpain Endurance Series and FIA GT Series
After the race in Dubai, Shulzhitsky took part in the Blancpain Endurance Series and the FIA GT Series as part of the Nissan GT Academy Team RJN [4] . He won his first podium in the Blancpain Endurance Series race on the Paul Ricard circuit [5] .
Endurance World Championship
Shulzhitsky made his debut in the World Endurance Championship, in the sport prototype class as part of the Greaves Motorsport team [6] .
24 hours of Le Mans
In 2014, Mark Shulzhitsky took part in his first race at Le Mans. The crew, which included Shulzhitsky, for a long time led the race in his class, but due to technical problems, finished only in 5th place. [7]
In the 2015 race, Shulzhitsky took part in the first crew of the Nissan factory team, becoming the first Russian to compete in the LMP1 class. The race was unsuccessful due to the technical unavailability of the car and ended immediately. [eight]
Le Mans European Series
In 2014, in the middle of the season, Mark Shulzhitsky accepted an invitation to play in the three final races of the European Le Mans Series in the LMP2 class as part of the Greaves Motorsport team, becoming the only Russian to perform in this class. Mark piloted with the 2012 Formula 2 champion . The best crew result this season is 4th place in the 4-hour Red Bull Ring race [9] .
