Biography

Born on June 10, 1928 in Jyväskylä . Seven times (1951-1956 and 1958) became the champion of Finland. In 1952, he won a bronze medal at the Helsinki Olympic Games . In 1956 he took part in the Olympic Games in Melbourne , but did not win medals. In 1958 he became a professional; in 1962 he was forced to leave boxing due to a serious injury.
