Christian Planer was born in 1975 in Kufstein . In 2003 he became the champion of Europe. In 2004, at the Olympic Games in Athens, won the bronze medal. In 2005 he again became the European champion, and in 2006 he won the gold, silver and bronze medals at the World Championships. In 2008, he took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing , but without success. In 2010, he won the silver medal at the World Championships. In 2012 he participated in the Olympic Games in London , but did not win medals.
