Petrich, Gerhard

Gerhard Petrich ( German: Gerhard Petritsch ; born September 2, 1940 ) is an Austrian shooter, winner of the 1980 Olympic Games.

Gerhard Petrich was born in 1940 in Berchtesgaden , Bavaria . In 1972, he took part in the Olympic Games in Munich , but there was only 8th in shooting with a fast-fire pistol at a distance of 25 m. In 1976, he was already the 7th at the Montreal Olympics , and in 1980 at the Olympic Games in Moscow he won a bronze medal. In 1984, he took part in the Los Angeles Olympics , but was unable to win medals.
