“ Little Red Riding Hood ” is a Soviet cartoon of 1937 , which was shot by Valentina and Zinaida Brumberg . [1] The cartoon was created based on the tale of Charles Perrault , but in many respects different from it. Made in the classic "Disney" style, which was in the Soviet animation until 1939.

Differences from the fairy tale
- In the cartoon, the wolf could not eat either Little Red Riding Hood or her grandmother. Accordingly, no one cut his belly like in a fairy tale.
- In the cartoon with the wolf they finished off much softer than in the original - the wolf fell into a barrel with tomatoes, which the cat locked, and then drove it along the road, after which she sank in the river.
- At the meeting, the wolf dressed in a goatskin, which is why Red Riding Hood believed him.

Video
The cartoon was produced on video cassettes in various collections in the 1980s in the SECAM system, and in the 1990s in the PAL system in collections of animated films of the Soyuz video studio (since 1994).
