History

The village got its name from the station of the same name located near the village.

In the village is located the Children's bronchopulmonary sanatorium No. 19 of the Moscow City Health Department , which was established on the site of the landowner's estate in 1936 [3] .

On the territory of the village there is a ruined manor, fragments of an abandoned apple orchard, a cypress avenue. On the pond near the estate there was a boat station that has not been preserved to this day. The sanatorium was originally located in the main building of the estate. Subsequently, a new building was built for the sanatorium and the manor began to be used as a hostel for the employees of the sanatorium. After the building was found to be in danger, residents were resettled in nearby houses, and the building soon fell into disrepair and partially collapsed.

Also near the sanatorium, in the village there was a pioneer camp . After the fire, what happened around the end of the 80s did not recover.

In the village, except for the sanatorium, there are no enterprises or organizations. The able-bodied population of the village is employed in a sanatorium, or in nearby settlements.

The village has no internal division.
