Huambisa ( Huambisa, Huambiza, Wambisa ) is an Indian language (according to another classification, dialect), belonging to the Khivar language family , which is spoken by the Uambis people living in the jungles of the mountain Andes along the Moron and Santiago rivers in northern Peru. This language has an official status in the region in which it is spoken.
