Title
The name of the village is Kalm. Har Usn can translate pure water ( Kalm. Har Usn - pure water; water alone [2] )
History
First indicated on a 1984 topographic map [3] . Presumably founded in the second half of the 20th century . In 1989, there were about 50 inhabitants [4] .
Physico-geographical characteristics
The village is located within the Ergeni Upland, which is part of the East European Plain . The average height above sea level is 70 meters [5] . The terrain is flat. The village is surrounded by fields . To the south of the village is the Kupriyanka beam, belonging to the basin of the Yashkul river [6] .
By road, the distance to the capital of Kalmykia, the city of Elista (city center) is 22 km, to the district center of the village of Troitsk - 32 km, to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village of Voznesenovka - 23 km. The nearest settlement is Iki-Chonos, located 8 km north of the village of Har-Usn [7] . There is no paved driveway to the village.
According to the Köppen-Geiger classification of climates, the village is located in the continental climate zone with relatively cold winters and hot summers (Dfa index). Light chestnut soils of various particle size distribution in combination with solonetzes are common in the vicinity of the village [8] .
In the village, as well as throughout Kalmykia , Moscow time operates.

According to the 2002 census , the Dargins lived in the village (100%) [11]
Social Infrastructure
There is no social infrastructure. Cultural institutions (a club, a library and education (high school, kindergarten) are located in the administrative center of the rural settlement - Voznesenovka village. [12] Medical care for the residents of the village is provided by the feldsher-midwife station in the villages of Voznesenovka and Tselinnaya Central District Hospital.
The village is not gasified. There is no central water supply, the need for fresh water is provided individually, by delivering water to each household. Drainage is carried out through the use of cesspools [12] .
