Gingitsune

Makoto Saeki is the daughter of a priest and lives with him in the Shinto temple of the god Ukanommitama. When the girl was 4 years old, her mother died. Then Makoto acquired the ability to see the spirits and met the messenger of God - the fox Inari, or simply Gintaro, who had been protecting the Saeki clan for 15 generations. Now, since Makoto is the only one who can see the spirits, she begins to play the role of an intermediary between gods and humans, helping visitors to the temple.

The only successor to the Saeki clan. Already at the age of 4 she lost her mother and then acquired the ability to see spirits, she lives in the temple with her father and Gintaro. With the help of Gintaro, she can also predict the fate of classmates and other schoolchildren.

Another fox defender who serves Gintaro. Unlike Gintaro, it is smaller and looks like a little fox.

Lions are dogs that previously lived in the altar of Matsuro opposite the temple Shobai. Saimara is already 1,500 years old, and Utamar is 1,400 years old.

A friend of Yumi, studying in another school, lives in the temple of Amabuki with his father - the priest of the temple.

Shinichi Yusidumi ( 吉 住 真 一 Yusidzumi Shinichi )

Assistant father Khivako, always accompanies his daughter to school and back. 10 years older than Iwako, and has feelings for her.

A childhood friend of Tatsuo and a retired priest. He currently owns Izdzaka . Helps every year in the purification ceremony.

Etsuko Toyokura ( Jap. 豊 倉 江津子 Toyokura Etsuko )

Aunt Makoto and older sister Tatsuo. Her family owns a local brewery. Tatsuo helps each year with the sanctuary cleansing ceremony.

Anime adaptation was created by the studio Diomedea and began its broadcast on October 6, 2013 ^{[7] [8]} . The opening for the anime “tiny lamp” is performed by fhána , and the ending of Gekkou Story ( jap. 月光 STORY Gekko: Sutori , Moon story) is SCREEN Mode . The anime series is also officially available for viewing on the American Crunchyroll website called Gingitsune: Messenger Fox of the Gods ^[9] .
