Umeda Sky Building ( 梅田 ス カ イ ビ ル ル) Umeda Sukay Biru - Osaka’s twelfth highest building, Osaka is one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in the city. It consists of two 40-storey towers connected by bridges and an escalator at the very top. [2] Located in (北区 | Kita-ku).

Overview
Located in Kita-ku ( eng. ), Osaka . The building was created in the framework of the 1988 project “City of Air” and was originally conceived to consist of four towers, but in the process, their number was reduced to two.
The chief architect of the 173 meter skyscraper was Hara Hiroshi [3] , and all construction work was carried out by Takenaka Corporation ( Jap. ). The object was commissioned in 1993. [four]
On the roof is the observation platform The Floating Garden Observatory . [5] At the foot of the towers is a garden with fountains.
Owners
Most of its history, the building was owned by Toshiba Building Co., Ltd. In July 2008, Toshiba sold (65%) of the shares to the holding company Nomura Real Estate co. [6]
